Question: No fire to Plugs, No power to Fuel Pump
I just bought a 97 Eagle Vision TSI 3.5L that wont start.
No spark to the plugs and Fuel pump wont engage. Changed the Spark plugs, Crankshaft sensor, Camshaft sensor, Ignition coil, as well as the Fuel filter. I pulled the Fuel pump and tested it with a battery it was ok. I tested the fuel pump relay and ASD relay and got voltage on both. Fuel pump fuse was good as well. However, when I tested for power to the fuel pump,I got no voltage.
Could a bad PCM cause the Fuel pump not to energize AND the spark plugs not to fire? What else can I check?
P.S. I can not get a reading of the PCM with a ODB-II scan tool and when I try to turn the ignition on and off to count CEL light it will not blink
