Question: What are some common causes of oil leaks in the Mirage?
It leaks about half a quart/300 miles and only when it is running. A stream of oil can be seen behind the oil sensor but does not appear to be coming from the sensor.

my guess is it neads a new head gasket.... mine needs one and thats why i go through oil. check if there is oil around the engine seals it will look like alot of dirt around your entire engine block where the two halves come together.... its twenty dollars for a gasket at auto zone and a somewhat easy service to do yourself.... especially in this car. hope it helps but definitely no guarantee this is the problem
